Sarah (Rosemary 10-375) [1]

Rosemary is an approximately 3 year-old female.  She's only been with us a little over a day but we know quite a bit about her already. She LOVES to be petted and huggled!  She's healthy, but thin.  She loves, loves, loves toys!  We're working to teach her that some things aren't her toys. :-)  She knows sit, lay down, and comes when called or whistled for.  Currently, she's not house-broken, but we're working on it.  On our walk today she tried to chase the cars.  We're working on that too.
 
As far as her past goes we know she was brought in as a stray to a shelter.  She had been skunked so she got a few baths and brushing there.  Volunteers (some kids) brushed her and walked her with other dogs.  During the course of her stay (almost 3 months!) she started exhibiting kennel-related behaviors.  She started not eating in her kennel and would get growly at dogs walking by.  The wonderful people at the shelter checked her weight and saw that she had gone from 53 (on 9/9) to 41.4 pounds (on 11/30)!  They started feeding her outside of her kennel and called RAGOM.  I'm happy to report that on 12/3 she weighed 45 pounds, so she's put back on some weight but her ribs are still too noticeable.
 
She is sweet and lovable and will make a great forever friend for someone.
