Hello Scooby!  This lovely lady came into RAGOM with 10 two or three-week old pups. She was surrendered because her family could no longer afford to feed her.  What a fantastic girl she is!  She is gentle, loves kids and is very affectionate!  The only concern with this mystery mix is that she needs a little more work on the house training, especially during the overnight hours.  Because she needs to have access to the puppies, we haven't been able to crate her for potty training purposes, but I think she will be a quick study once we are able to do that!

Our best estimate is that Scooby is about 3 years old and she is a petite 35 lbs.  She may not have a drop of Golden in her, but she has a wonderful Golden temperament!  She has no problem with cats, could live with or without another dog.  Ideally she would have a fence or invisible fence as she does like to hang out in the back and enjoy the good smells, but likely could be boundary trained if necessary.  She has had free roam (so she can get to the pups) and has not been destructive.  She seems unfamiliar with being leashed, but does not pull.

Scooby will need to be spayed once her pups are fully weaned, and then she will be ready for her forever home!  She is planning to attend Goldzilla and I bet, if she hasn't found her forever family by then, she will meet them that day. Just a few minutes with this special girl and you know she will make a wonderful companion!
