Cedar came to my foster home last Saturday. In no time at all she stole my heart. I had recently lost my golden to a nasty illness at the young age of 7. My heart was hurting and I began to foster again not having the intentions to adopt any time soon. The second Cedar came in to my home that all changed.
Cedar was very much loved at her previous home, there is no question there. She has the biggest heart and the most gentle soul. When I was thinking about the family I would dream for her, I had a hard time coming up with an answer. The reason that I see now, she was meant to stay in mine.
Cedar is going to be the special girl I will get to go on my journey of life with, I will get to share all my moments with her, some uplifting and wonderful while some may be tough and heartbreaking. Through it all she will be there to help remind me to never take anything for granted and to love like a golden, unconditional and big! I am so thankful to have this gentle giant in my life!
