Sidney (Sugar 09-527) [1]

I would like to introduce you to the newest member of RAGOM.Sugar came to us yesterday.  She is a 50-55 pound golden mix that is 14 months old, so she does have some puppy energy.   She is UTD on all of her shots, HW negative, and spayed.  We are still getting to know her, but this is what we know so far:

1.  She LOVES to play with dogs and tennis balls.

2.  She does play a bit hard when playing with other dogs, but is easily corrected.

3.  She hasn’t had a lot of boundaries set for her, but she is learning things quickly.  Doggy training needs to be in her future!

4.  We were told that she lived with cats and kids in the past and did fine.

5.  She seems to be housetrained.  She goes to the door when she needs to go outside.

6.  She doesn’t seem crate trained yet, but we are already working on that.  She will go into the crate with a little hot dog incentive!

7.  She hasn’t shown any signs of resource guarding and can eat near other dogs.

8.  She does love to play outside in the snow—even when her paws start to get too cold. 

9.  If given the chance, she would dart out an open door, so she would probably do best in a fenced yard.

10.  She would probably also do really well at a dog park as she does have quite a bit of energy. 

11.  She loves riding in the car.
