Snuggles (Simba) 06-223 [1]

5/19/06: Meet Simba to my resident Nala. He is a wonderful 6 month old boy who was surrendered to the Humane Society in Rapid City and was scheduled to be put down with some other pups as the shelter was over burdened with dogs. A wonderful RAGOM volunteer was able to get 4 pups and get them into RAGOM.

Simba (FKA Snuggles) is sweet and fairly easy going. We have a vet appointment today to check his health and also look at this leg/hip. He is having trouble with his back leg and it may be from an injury sustained at the shelter. He met my residents Sue and Nala with no problems and is doing well. He seems very skinny to me, but the vet will tell me if he needs to gain more weight.

Nala would love to play with Simba, but his leg is bothering him a bit and he doesn't seem to be able to play at this time. I will try to get better pictures of Simba as this picture doesn't do him justice - he is one handsome, sweet boy. More to come was we learn more about this wonderful boy.
