Stanley 11-322 [1]

Stanley safely arrived from Iowa on Sunday night and by Tuesday he was acting like he owned the place. He comes from a home where he was well loved and spoiled crazy. Due to a combination of human health issues and Stanley’s puppy like energy, he was brought into Ragom. Now, we all know that Ragom is a Golden Retriever rescue group and we happily expand that definition for dogs in need.  BUT, how Stanley passed security and got into a Golden rescue is beyond me. He looks more labra-doodle than golden-doodle but the key point is he is a sweet, loving, wonderful dog. We are more than happy to welcome him into the club.  He is big, beautiful, and catches the eye of everyone he goes by.  On his walks, Stanley has met many dogs and happy greets and tries to play with each one. He is very gentle with the small ones. He met a puppy and was very sweet and careful with him. He also loves people and when he sees someone, his whole rear end just wiggles non-stop. Even though he is about 14 months old, he is really just a big puppy himself.  Tomorrow he goes to the vet to be brought up to date on shots, a wellness check, and we will make arrangements for the “big snip”.  That’s right, our sweet Stanley is not neutered but that will change.  This is a wonderful dog and as we learn more, we will update the site.
