3/25/07: Welcome to RAGOM Suzie! Your puppy mill days are a thing of the past. Today is the first day of the rest of your life!

Suzie was one of the 83 rescued purebred Golden Retrievers from a North Dakota puppy mill that was shut down last week. Suzie arrived in Minnesota last night. After her vet check, she came home to Golden Valley where she promptly received a much needed bath. She whimpered a little throughout the night but ate breakfast and started her day with a smile.

We don't know much about Suzie except that she had a litter of twelve beautiful purebred pups about 8 weeks ago. Those puppies are now weaned and were placed in their own RAGOM foster homes. We are guessing that Suzie is about 2 years old, but will ask the vet when she is examined later this week. Suzie is enjoying life as a single gal without the responsibility of raising puppies! She has been exploring our house and yard and even engaged our resident Golden in play this afternoon!
