I would like to welcome Tanner to RAGOM.

Tanner came into my home on Sunday night. He was surrendered from a wonderful family that cared alot about him. He is nicely groomed and clean and very loving.

His first night was kind of tuff for him. He paced from door to door. He would lay down for awhile and then get up and move to another door. He did not cry at all, but does love counter surfing. We don't keep much on our counters anymore now that the kids all moved away from home. He also likes the garbage can so that is in the pantry now.

He keeps trying to get up on the bed. I heard he likes to sleep in big peoples bed. Sorry he can't do that here because the cats have first dibbs, besides there is not enough room on a king size bed for 4 cats and 2 dogs.

He gets along great with our black lab Charmin, but he now stays clear of the 4 cats after one took a swap at him. He now walks way around them.

He is scared of loud noises like air guns, air compessors and hammers. We are finishing our basement and he will not come down when we are working down there.

After 48 hours having him he is starting to lay down and of course it is wherever I go he goes. He watches every move I make.

Tanner went to the vet today and is all up to date with shots. We are waiting for the results on the heart worm test.

He also has a broken front bottom tooth so I will be taking him in to check that out.

I will be working on his issues in the kitchen and some of his manners. He listens some times and not others.

Check back later on in the week for more updates and pictures. He does not like his picture taken, he turns his head away.

Tanner's SO he is doing just fine.
