Tobie 06-298 [1]

7/9/06: Tobie is a beautiful 10-year-old purebred Golden. Don't let his white face fool you. I think someone just painted an old guy's face on an energetic teenager! He's so sweet and gets along with all the dogs and cats. Tobie's two favorite pasttimes are playing catch with a ball or Frisbee and eating. He's pretty good at both. He also loves to eat. He will eat just about anything. Did I mention that he loves to eat? He lived with his previous family since he was a puppy and loved their children, but they just got too busy to give him the love and attention he craves.

He's only here for the weekend until his foster family is ready for him. During this time Tobie has caused no problems with the other dogs and never bothered the cats. In fact, he seems to really like the cats. So much so that whenever they use the litter box, he's right there to clean up after them. He reminds me of the little child with chocolate all over her hands and face, but who says no when asked if he's been in the chocolate chip cookies. He does love his kitty treats.

Tobie loves to sleep on the floor next to the bed and really misses the activity and attention of a family. We've seen no evidence that Tobie likes to chew on furniture, cats or children. He is one sweet baby.
