I am Wiley's temp foster, but am very tempted to keep him myself...forever! He has been recovering from a few issues... ear infections, bladder infection, recent neuter surgery. But even with all that he is the sweetest dog you could ask for. He is currently on antibiotics and ear meds. Wiley is a Golden mixed with something more compact, maybe Sheltie or Aussie, and looks like a miniature Golden with some white markings on his face and front feet. He is about 2 years old and only weighs about 30-40 lbs. He could stand to gain a few pounds. I can lift him up and hold him like a baby. He acts like he completely expects to be rocked to sleep in my arms. His exercise needs are minimal, which may be because of his recovery. Sleeping is his favorite activity right now. He will walk into his kennel and plop down for a nap, without being asked. At bedtime he whined a bit so my son volunteered to sleep next to his kennel the first night. My other son has dibs on that duty tonight. We'll see how it goes the third night alone. He would probably be fine on a dog bed (or people bed), but I'm not ready to try that since we don't let dogs in the bedrooms at our house. Wiley doesn't seem to have any bad behaviors. He peeked on the counter a couple of times, but he can barely reach it so I wasn't worried. Not at all mouthy, and really doesn't kiss too much either. He kind of stays to himself in a friendly, interactive sort of way. He was a stray, so is probably used to being on his own. Whoever adopts this guy will be getting one precious boy!
