Zeb 09-427 [1]

Zebulah is a 4 yr old neutered male PB Golden Retriever.  His previous owner had some changes in his personal life, and no longer has enough time to give Zeb the attention he deserves and needs.  The owner was very distraught about giving him up, but wants Zeb to have a GReat life.

After just a few days fostering Zeb, we know that he is very affectionate, loves being petted, and is eager to please.  He’s very well behaved.   He already has the run of our house while we are at work and has not done anything inappropriate.  He has learned our routine quickly and loves to play and go on walks.  Zeb hasn’t displayed any aggression or resource guarding.  He gets along good with our resident male GR and he’s met both big and small dogs on walks. He is friendly, but well mannered. 

He was very frightened and shy the first few hours we had him, but he quickly warmed up to us and is now a sponge for attention and praise.

He is overweight right now but is active and likes to run and play.  We have him on a diet and he already lost 3 lbs.  A good weight for Zeb will be 70-75 lbs.  He currently weights 85 lbs.   Zeb doesn’t mind the diet and he will lose his excess weight quickly.

We brought him to the vet last night and he is in good health with no issues. 

Zeb is a great dog.  We are amazed at how well behaved, mellow, and easy going he is, and we are enjoying our time with him.
