Transport Trainer [1]
Team:
Role Overview:
Transport trainers instruct new transport volunteers via phone. Each trainer covers two months of primary training coverage and selects two months for backup coverage. Trainers provide 5 – 8 trainings per month on average, and each training takes 45 – 60 minutes. The Transport Training Team Leader sends the transport volunteer applicant’s information to the designated trainer, who then contacts the applicant to arrange a date and time for training. For detailed information and Transport FAQs, visit the Transport Volunteer page [2].
Once training is completed, the trainer provides the transport volunteer applicant’s information to the appropriate teams and request supplies. All new transport trainers will be provided with instruction and listen to an actual training prior to being added to the monthly schedule.
