An Important Message Regarding the Availability of RAGOM Dogs
Rescues across the country have seen a dramatic decline in the number of Golden Retrievers needing to be rehomed. Although we are sometimes asked to rehome a healthy, purebred Golden, many of our dogs have medical or behavioral issues. We have also seen a dramatic rise in the number of applicants for all of our dogs.
Because the number of dogs we rescue is decreasing and the number of interested adopters is significantly increasing, we simply do not have enough dogs to adopt to everyone who applies. We appreciate all previous adopters, our donors, and interested families. However, we can only prioritize based on what is best for our dogs.

Our Adoption Process
RAGOM takes great care in matching our dogs with suitable families, and our adoption process has proven to be effective.

Adoption Eligibility
Adopters must agree to conditions that will ensure the welfare of their family and our dogs and ease transition into a new home.
