Our Jezebel has met a wonderful family and they have adopted her. Congratulations to Jezebel and the B. family! We hope to see you at many future RAGOM events!

In foster care we quickly learned that Jezebel had missed out on a few things in her upbringing. She started to break out of crates after a few days, so much that we worried she would break or damage her teeth on the metal bars of the crate. So we resorted to restricting access to only a few rooms using baby gates and closed doors.
Jezebel is a voracious counter surfer and will chew on anything she finds on the counters, items such as the charging cord for the iPad and dog grooming brushes. To avoid further mishaps one must make sure to not leave any such items on the counters.
We also realized that Jezebel had little to no experience with walking on a leash. We started with a leash to her harness, a second leash to her martingale collar, and the last secure measure was a slip lead. Our walks are getting better but when we first start out she tends to spin in circles as if testing if she can get free. Once we give her a calm reassurance that all is okay we can enjoy our walks.
