Bengal 04-025

Profile

Bengal 04-025 is 6 months old, he came from the same puppy mill as Polar/Boscoe. Bengal was extremely nervous and afraid of all people and dogs. I don't think he was treated very good at the mill. Bengal is in perfect health and is now perhaps the most energetic playful puppy I've ever had. Bengal didn't eat at all when he first arrived, I think it was because he was too distracted by his new environment. He now eats much better on his own. Bengal has a lot of natural instinct to fetch items and bring them to me, he likes to steal my neighbors dogs toys all the time. He is just a big, fluffy ball of energy!

He is warming up to people and dogs better now and likes them but is still cautious. He likes kids and has not seen a cat yet so I don't know how he would respond to cats. Bengal likes to lay in the snow and when he goes outside he wants to stay and play in the snow all day! Bengal is about 90% house broken right now. In a few more days I'm sure he will be totally house broken.

Bengal is being fostered by a new foster home. His previous foster home had to temporary move into an apartment and can not take him with him. Bengal moved into our home just yesterday. He is a great dog. He gets along with children and other dogs. He is a very people lovin', lookin' for pettin' type of dog, just like a golden is known for. He played with Boscoe 04-027 his pal and his foster pal Buddy. They ran around the yard chasing each other with the new sticks they had just found. We went for a walk last night and he did great. He didn't pull on the leash and just walked happily with his pals. Bengal is just a little shy and timid. Loud noises startle him still, it will just take time and learning for that to subside. He loves tennis balls and squeaking toys. If you throw him a ball he is very good at bringing it back to you, so you can do it again. I'm sure Bengal would make a fine addition to any family. He is a gentleman and just as sweet as can be.
