These cute little kids made their way to RAGOM in St. Louis Park from an animal shelter in Southern Minnesota.  It was a hot and humid dog day.  A tank and a half of gas was burned picking these pups, mom and another big boy up (Buddy #02-200: no relation) and bringing them into foster care.  They are purebred goldens and just as cute as can be.  Since a long road trip was required to bring them in, they were given RAGOM names after cars spotted along the route.

Mom, Chelsey #02-208, (not available for adoption) is a very loving girl with people as well as her pups.

With great sorrow we want to let you know that incredible RAGOM dog Blazer (02-210) was peacefully assisted to rest on August 11th.  His terminal hip problems made the simple task of standing almost unattainable for him and his failing eyes and ears gave him great anxiety.

Thirteen years ago Blazer was one of the famous “Road Trip Puppies” and likely the only one who kept his original given name.

My wife and I were married and adopted Blazer in the Summer of 2002. Two states, six moves, countless schedule adjustments and three children later Blazer has always been the cornerstone of our life. Like most Golden’s, Blazer won over the hearts of everyone he encountered.  We will forever remember our first dog, Blazer.
