Lucky, who will now be known as Bo, is headed home to his forever family. He grew so much while we had him, both in stature (from 4 to 8 pounds!) and in personality! He was a delight to have in our home, and we hope the best for his eye going forward.
His new family has kids—which he loves—and lots of room to run and play. He is going to have some training classes and lots of other pups to play with at doggy daycare. We will miss this sweet boy but are happy he is headed on to a Golden life!

Lucky has grown a lot during the last few weeks to a whopping 7 pounds! He was too little to attend Goldzilla but has been enjoying all the treats I have brought home, including a little bow tie.
His personality continues to come out—he is very silly! He knows he is not allowed to have shoes, so he will grab one (which is about the same size he is) as I take them off and run across the house playfully!
His favorite treats are frozen peanut butter and buffalo horns, which help with his teething. He is very good at his routine and continues to improve on potty training. He now knows to sit, shake, lay down, and roll over.
He is the most cuddly puppy I've ever had, until he gets overtired and needs to chew! He runs puppy laps through our house and out in our yard and over, under, and around our big resident dogs. He does really well with my resident cat, and the two play "tag" together.
His favorite napping spot is under the couch, where he will pull his toys to hide them from the other dogs. He is still very much a Velcro dog and follows us everywhere in the house.
Lucky is still awaiting his ophthalmology appointments and has had some puppy parasites that will be rechecked in the coming week. He is eating, sleeping, and acting like a normal puppy. Hoping he has a clear bill of health soon so he can go to his forever home!

Lucky is a darling mini Goldendoodle puppy with a soft and curly coat. He was born on June 11, 2018. At only 5 pounds he is truly mini in our home, with his two XL Golden foster brothers.
He has a sweet and engaging personality that makes you want to spoil him. He keeps busy by playing with toys and follows his foster parents all over the house, truly a Velcro dog. He is working on potty training and basic obedience, but already learned to sit.
Lucky is blind in his right eye and is pending appointments with an ophthalmologist. His eye does not slow him down at all, and he is not in any pain. He is working on learning depth perception. He will also need to finish his vaccinations and complete his neuter before he is ready for adoption.
Lucky is an ideal puppy—he loves being held and snuggling and has been outgoing with everyone he meets! He loves his big brothers' toys and retrieves full-sized tennis balls in our yard. He is actively teething and will chew anything in sight, but he is great with redirection and is improving every day.
Lucky is a small puppy, but will require the guidance and attention that all puppies need and deserve. He will need a family that is able to look out for him and help him grow.
