Charles 10-267

Please welcome Charles, a beautiful blonde GR who has joined the RAGOM family. His family recently had to move into an apartment and can not take him with. Charles is 5 years. Pictures will be coming. I am still getting to know him, but I can tell already, he is a sweet, wonderful playful guy who loves to play keep away, swim in the pond and get lots of pets. He is very friendly and shows no aggression at meal time or with toys. Charles will need to lose weight as he is over 100 lbs. His face is showing some gray, but because he is blonde he looks as though he has been “powdered” with face makeup. He is submissive with other dogs, so much so that little 10 pound Duster is the boss.

Charles knows commands such as sit, down, stay. He readily goes into a kennel. I leave the kennel doors open and he would go in and take his naps. He was mainly an outside boy, but is housetrained. He has been very much loved and taken care of.

Charles will be attending Goldzilla! Perfect timing to meet his extended RAGOM family.

We are so very sad to report that we had to put Charles down today. We took him to Iowa State Vet Clinic a few weeks ago - he was diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis, and, a mass in his spleen. He was beginning to show signs of neurological issues that can come with laryngeal paralysis as it develops. We had five absolutely wonderful years with him. I have attached a photo of him.
