Chase was adopted to his forever home last week and has settled in so well! He is enjoying playing with his new "sister" Roxie, who was also a rescue. Chase came to us 10 pounds underweight and with a terrible ear infection. What a delight it was to watch him go from a wary breeder dog to a real dog full of life and fun.
According to his adopters Chase has settled right in and is finally living a truly Golden life!

Chase (AKA White Dog) is still waiting for his forever home and he truly cannot figure out why someone hasn’t chosen him yet! He’s a really good boy, super smart, inquisitive and well-mannered.
He gives enthusiastic greetings when you return home (basically he stands on his back legs and hugs you) but settles down very quickly. Chase has gotten over any of the bad habits he had when he came to us, however he still likes to steal things like socks, but has made progress when we replace these with appropriate toys.
Because he has been with his foster family for several months he has learned exactly how to be a dog from the resident doggies. Chase is very loving and always seems to be looking for approval from his people. He is fantastic with other dogs and really loves to play.
Did we mention he is absolutely beautiful to boot? You will fall in love with his expressions right away! Chase is ready to become a loving member of the right family. This gorgeous guy is only two years old and has his whole sweet life ahead of him.

Since coming to live with us, Chase has really come out of his shell! He's very playful and trusting. He is such a character. He gives hugs and smiles when he gets excited.
He no long counter surfs, is completely housebroken, is great on leash and is just an all around treasure! He also (mostly) knows the difference now between a pair of socks and an appropriate toy. Chase is completely ready to go to his forever home.

Chase is a one and a half year old neutered Golden Doodle (English Cream x Poodle) who looks like a white Golden. Chase came from a commercial breeding facility and was given his chance at a Golden life by RAGOM.
He is a complete charmer, who actually smiles when he sees you after you’ve been away for a few hours. Chase is obedient, wonderful on a leash, great with other dogs (even very small ones) and fine with cats.
He is very loving and cuddly, but also crates well when it is bedtime. He should probably be crated when family members are away as he loves to steal clothing, pillows, etc. He is truly a sweet, sweet boy who will quickly become a beloved member of your family.
Chase needs a loving, patient home with at least one other dog. He would probably not do well being left home alone all day. It’s very important that Chase be supplied with a variety of toys. When he can’t find one he will go for socks or clothing.
Early on after his arrival he was a bit of a counter surfer, but a stern no gets the message across. Most of this is due to his lust for food. Chase weighed 44 pounds when he came in and is now up to 50.
He devours his food and is fed separately from the other dogs. He is fine with humans around his food, but will lash out at other dogs over food items. He is calm, but loves to play and needs his exercise, so would likely need a fenced yard. He has not had much experience with children, but warms to strangers quickly.
Chase does jump on his foster in a gentle way, as if he wants a hug. He has made progress in this area, but he may still jump up at times. Chase is very responsive to the word “no”.
Chase is truly, truly a dream doggy (though due to his prior circumstances, still a puppy in many ways) and will make someone a wonderful companion!
