Chuck has found a new foster. He came into my home on Tuesday evening of this week. They say life goes in circles and Chuck has made a complete circle and more to come as he looks for his furever home.

On August 22, 2013 my daughter and I drove north of Brainerd to pickup Chuck, his mother and 9 litter mates, as they had been abandoned. RAGOM was very gracious in taking them in for fostering. Mom Scooby and her 10 pups were in my home for about 48 hours before they were transported to IA with a perm foster. Once the pups were older and eating solid food Scooby was once again transported to MN back into my care to be spayed and her pups were split into groups of 2 or 3 into a new foster homes.

Having Scooby here for about a month till her milk sacks completely dried up and she was spayed and adopted, I got to know the real Scooby without pups to watch over. Having Chuck in my home now I see so much of his mother in him and the love and training that he has been given so far in his life. This would be a complete circle.

Chuck is very busy little boy. He loves to empty the toy box - every time I put toys in, he takes toys out. He does know the commands "sit, outside, potty, and kennel" and is learning more everyday. He loves playing with his foster sisters, Missy and Ali. Life is good for Chuck!

So as I started saying, Chuck started here and left for a few months and now he is back again as my new little boy foster looking for his furever home. If you think Chuck could fit into your life or home, please talk to your placement coordinator to meet him.

Love, FM, Chuck, Missy & Ali

Chuck has certainly had a busy holiday. He did amazingly well meeting new people and dogs. Chuck welcomed them into his foster home with nothing but tail wags & kisses. I have nothing but praises to say about this sweet boy. Chuck has done amazingly well on learning his commands.  Chuck is ready to meet his FURever family and truly settle in.

Foster mom also wants to thank Cooper, Bauer, & Betty for Chuck's holiday icon. Thank you!

If this handsome young lad could be the dog for you please let your placement advisor know.

Chuck here, I get to do my very own update. I got to meet a very nice family the other weekend. Foster mom said I did a great job showing them how playful and loving I am. I still have a lot of puppy energy so we decided I may not be the perfect fit for their young family. Foster mom told me I'm old enough now that I don't need papers in my kennel anymore. We also did a happy dance this week because I haven't had an accident in the house in weeks and foster mom says I'm officially potty trained. I even know to go to the back door to say I need outside. Did I mention I have two foster brothers here? They are a lot of fun. I love to wrestle with them. Foster mom says I don't have to go to a home with another dog but I sure would love to have a friend to play with. I still love playing fetch in the backyard especially with sticks. There is a fenced in yard here but I could be boundary trained when I get older. Foster mom said I should mention cats. Well I've never met a cat & I have no idea about them. Foster mom thinks I could probably live with a dog savvy cat though. I'm pretty used to the routine around here but I sure would love to have a family to call my own.

If you think I might be a fun guy to meet...a pup who loves to explore and play but when I'm all done loves to snuggle then I just might be the pup for you. Just let your placement adviser know you want to meet Mr. Chuck.

Chuck is now 11 weeks old and at last weigh in he was 14 lbs. Chuck knows his name and is doing very well on his recall. Chuck already knows his sit command and almost always does it the first time. Chuck also hasn't had an accidents in the house in weeks. Pretty impressive for such a young guy. He sleeps in his kennel from 10:30-6:30 everyday. Chuck still occasionally uses the papers during the night but does an excellent job sleeping all night long. Chuck may not be Golden but he certainly has the personality. Chuck loves to play fetch with a tennis ball or a stick outside. He also greatly enjoys the companionship of his foster brothers. Chuck is an immensely affectionate puppy with his humans and loves to bond with them. Like all puppies he is still teething but is easily redirected. Chuck is the perfect balance of love bug and curious puppy.

If Chuck sounds like he may be a fit for you please contact your placement adviser.

It's time for an update on Mr. Chuck & he sure has had a busy two weeks. It's hard to believe he has been with me for a month now. Chuck & his three brothers I was fostering all got neutered on the 1st. Chuck has recovered very nicely. Last week Chuck said goodbye to Chevy who was adopted to his FURever home. A few days later Shadow & Duke moved to their new foster homes. Chuck has handled the adjustment very well thanks to the resident dogs. Chuck's personality is really emerging. He loves to puppy play & wrestle with the resident dogs. Chuck is a big fan of fetch, probably his favorite game at all. Chuck is an extreme love bug. He is happiest when he is cuddling with Foster Mom or Foster Dad. Chuck is also an extremely gentle puppy as he is fostered with a 2yr old and a 6 month old little girls.

If this very special little boy sounds like he may be a match for your home please contact your placement adviser.

Chuck & 3 of his littermates are now being fostered in Waukee, IA. They have been here with me and their two foster brothers for a week now. Since they have been here they have all grown quite a bit. Each puppy has its very own and distinct personality and it’s a joy to watch them emerge into their own.

Chuck & his littermates got their first set of shots last Tuesday. They are now able to go outside and explore and let me tell you they absolutely love it. Chuck likes to dig at the ground and eat grass.  They know this world is a fun and exciting place. Chuck’s favorite activity is to chase his oldest foster brother.

Chuck will be getting neutered the 4th of October and will be able to to go home with his FURever family after he’s had a few days to recover. If you think this playful & extremely outgoing puppy could be for you please let your placement advisor know.

All Miss Scooby's puppies are growing like weeds!  They are eating hard food and lapping water from a dish -- and are pooping and peeing machines!  They will go for their first shots at the end of this week and then will be leaving their super-awesome momma.  Though they won't be with Scooby, they will still with at least one other litter mate for the next few weeks to continue to socialize and learn the rules of dog-dog interaction.

"Chuck" is a quite the little looker with his white goatee!  He is a love bug and is looking for a family to call his own!
