Chuck has found a new foster. He came into my home on Tuesday evening of this week. They say life goes in circles and Chuck has made a complete circle and more to come as he looks for his furever home.
On August 22, 2013 my daughter and I drove north of Brainerd to pickup Chuck, his mother and 9 litter mates, as they had been abandoned. RAGOM was very gracious in taking them in for fostering. Mom Scooby and her 10 pups were in my home for about 48 hours before they were transported to IA with a perm foster. Once the pups were older and eating solid food Scooby was once again transported to MN back into my care to be spayed and her pups were split into groups of 2 or 3 into a new foster homes.
Having Scooby here for about a month till her milk sacks completely dried up and she was spayed and adopted, I got to know the real Scooby without pups to watch over. Having Chuck in my home now I see so much of his mother in him and the love and training that he has been given so far in his life. This would be a complete circle.
Chuck is very busy little boy. He loves to empty the toy box - every time I put toys in, he takes toys out. He does know the commands "sit, outside, potty, and kennel" and is learning more everyday. He loves playing with his foster sisters, Missy and Ali. Life is good for Chuck!
So as I started saying, Chuck started here and left for a few months and now he is back again as my new little boy foster looking for his furever home. If you think Chuck could fit into your life or home, please talk to your placement coordinator to meet him.
Love, FM, Chuck, Missy & Ali
