Welcome to RAGOM, Coconut!!

Coconut is a 10-week-old female Goldendoodle. She is the sweetest little puppy!! She weighs about 10 lbs (needs to gain some weight) and has had her first round of puppy shots. She checked out healthy at the vet and is being spayed and microchipped today, so she will be ready for her forever family soon. She is doing really well with going potty outside. She has been on a few walks and is doing really great on a leash. She sleeps in a crate right next to my bed and I have been lucky that she sleeps a good 9 hours each night without a peep and keeps her crate dry. Let your placement advisor know if you’d like to meet Coconut!

Please remember as you look at her adorable pictures:

  • Puppies are a LOT of work in their first year!
  • Puppies have a small, immature bladder and cannot go a full workday without being let out. You will need to make arrangements for someone to come in midday until she is about 6 months old.
  • Puppies NEED obedience, socialization, and manners training! RAGOM gets many unmannered and undersocialized dogs surrendered due to the simple lack of training and socialization when the puppy was young. This is a crucial time for puppies to learn about so many things!

Coconut is doing really well! She is a typical puppy—she has moments of sweetness, moments of curiosity, and moments of puppy ZOOMIES!!! She is doing a good job with potty training and learning to walk on a leash. She has perfected her role as the annoying little sister with my resident dog (he’s 8 and way too cool to play with a puppy). She is recovering from her spay and ready for her new home!
