Meet our big, beautiful love sponge Cookie (short for Cookie Monster)!  Cookie is approximately 4 years old. She has beautiful long fur, a goregous face and the cutest long hair on her ears (see picture above). We promised her surrendering owner that we would find a fantastic home for this big sweetheart.  We were pretty adamant that Cookie's forever family would have children for her to love and plenty of time to devote to her.  Little did we know that it would take less than 24 hours to find them!  Thanks to Cindy J. from placement we got the perfect application we needed for this pretty, lovable girl. The G. family of Woodbury met her today and fell instantly in love with her.  And they have two kids with big supplies of hugs for Cookie!  Their message to RAGOM placement pretty much says it all: 

WE LOVE HER!!!! She is perfect!!!!!

We called <foster mom> back and told her we would love to
adopt Cookie- She is so beautiful!!!  Thanks RAGOM.  We are so excited!

Cookie is already spayed and in good health.  She will head to the vet this week to get her current on her vaccinations and get her general health check, and then she will be ready to go to her forever home later this week.   Congratulations to Cookie's new family.  She'll be home soon!  YEAH COOKIE!

In 2007 we adopted Cookie Monster aka... "Cookie" her foster mom, Marnie, was a huge help in the transition. In 2011 Cookie was diagnosed with cancer, she was almost 10....

She was the best dog. She was loving, loyal, kind, sweet, patient... A beautiful soul. Today, after extensive treatments, Cookie went to doggie heaven. She lived a year and a half with the cancer thanks to many medications and lots of help from the vet, but ultimately, she could no longer play, walk stairs, or poop and we had to make a very hard decision.

Thank you to RAGOM for the gift of our beautiful golden bear, we loved her so much!! She would have been 11 on July 30th, 2013~~

Today was Cookie's big day!  She started off with a spa day at the groomers.  Her coat is now soft and shiny, nails are trimmed, and she smells great!  And then, what she's been waiting for.... the big reunion with her brand new family!  Cookie's adoption is finalized, and she has gone off to start her new golden life at her forever home.  Check out how excited she is!  We're so excited for Cookie and for her new family.  Another golden success story!  RAGOM rocks!
