Dozer 07-454

Profile

Dozer 07-454 is here. He rode well in his crate. After the introduction to my dog Harrison, who was alpha, they started to play. They would now like to do this 24/7 if I allowed it!  Dozer is 8 months old, surrendered by a family with two young children and not enough time for him. He is this beautiful copper color, weighs maybe 55 pounds. He will see my vet on Wednesday. He is up to date on all shots and neutered. He knows to sit, but not much else. He doesn't jump on me, and doesn't do much counter surfing. I call him on it if he tries. Sleeps all night peacefully in his crate and is ready to roll again at about 6:00 a.m. Thank goodness I am an early riser.

Updates

Sunday, July 15, 2018

Dozer crossed the Rainbow Bridge peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 12, 2018.

He lived a life full of great walks, running on the golf course, rolling in snow and of course playing “ball”.  He had many human and dog friends in the neighborhood, as well as on Instagram @dozer1msp.

He was a gentle boy and a wonderful companion. He will be missed. Best. Dog. Ever.

"Hi". I'm Dozer and I get to do the update. I really like this place in the country. My favorite thing to do is play with the resident dog. He's eight but boy, oh boy, does he ever like to play with me. We play tug with any of our toys that we can both get out mouths around. We growl and pretend we are really ferocious. We do at least two walks a day down the lane. Lots of the animals in the woods use the road at night and I like picking up their scents. I'm doing better on the leash. Foster mom says I am one smart cookie about all the things she is teaching me. I sit really well, take treats nicely and I kennel up at bed time like a really good guy. I am also learning that cats will bat at your face if you are in their face. I fetch tennis balls like I know what I am doing. I am a Golden "RETRIEVER", you know.

Oh. I went to the vet. Everyone there said I was one special guy. I got "chipped". I weigh 66 pounds.  The Dr. really looked me over and said I was quite healthy. I do have a skin rash and I am taking a green pill for that this week. I sometimes "pee" in the house, but not often. I guess I get so excited when I play that I forget to give a signal to go out. Foster mom has to remember to just take me out more often I guess. I am so happy to be a RAGOM dog!
