Holly (Dolly 04-243)

Profile

Dolly is a beautiful 1-2 year old rescued female Golden/Pyr mix.  Dolly wants nothing more than to find a loving forever home with someone who will be home most of the time to give her lots of attention.  She is a real cuddle-bug who will lay by your side for hours while you scratch her ears and belly.  She is about 45 lbs. as she was a stray and underweight, but will likely be about 55 lbs. when she is up to normal weight.  Dolly loves to ride in the car, gets along fine with other animals, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash and is extremely well behaved in the house. Dolly is spayed, UTD on shots and is in fine physical health.  An old injury caused the loss of sight in her left eye, but this does not bother her at all.  Dolly would be an ideal indoor companion for either a single or adult couple.

Dolly has been a perfect house guest again this week.  She is a petite girl of about 48# and think she is at her perfect weight, although we originally thought she was underweight.
After settling in for a few days, we started on basic commands and either she had prior training or is very smart, because this took no time at all.  Of course, her nature is to please and she seemed to love it when I put the resident dogs in another room so she was the center of attention.  And the hot dogs probably helped, too!       Dolly is ready to move in with her own single or adult couple.  Because she loves lots of attention, she would be happiest to be the only dog, but would gladly share her family with a cat or two.
