Please welcome Jersey 13-293 to RAGOM!! Jersey is a 9-year-old, sweet, loyal Golden girl who is part of a bonded pair with Jack 13-292 . Jersey's owners have had her since she was a puppy and due to a divorce, could no longer keep her or Jack.

Jersey has been my houseguest for about 3 weeks and I am completely in love with her. She has perfect manners, gets along amazingly with my two residents, and loves my two kids. Jersey knows how to sit, stay, lay down, shake, and speak.

Jersey has no anxiety (storm or separation), and she does not resource guard or show any aggression. She does not counter surf and is not food motivated (but she does like her treats). She is a sweet, quiet girl who loves to be by her people. She rides perfectly in the car and likes her rides. She likes to play with her "baby," snuggle, walk, and be loved.

Jersey went to the vet last week and was loved by all. Everyone said, "She is so sweet." She was brought up-to-date on all of her shots and is scheduled for her spay surgery on October 31st. She has bilateral ear infections which I am treating with drops and an oral steroid.

Jersey needs a forever home with her friend Jack 13-292. Jersey and Jack have been together since they were puppies. Jersey does great with children and does not need a physical fence. Jersey will also need a home committed to a high quality diet. Much like Jack, Jersey is an inside dog who has free roam. She needs a home that will allow her to be the loving Golden girl she is. Jersey has a shorter and more curly coat that does not shed as much. :-) She behaves perfectly with other dogs and doesn't care about cats.

If you are looking for two amazing Goldens who are loyal, loving, and well-behaved, then you have found them!!

Jack and Jersey found their forever home this past weekend. The S. family of Buffalo adopted Jack and Jersey Saturday night. My heart still hurts, but I am so happy for them!!! They could NOT have found a better match or family. They will live the Golden Life. Jack & Jersey were very excited, as were their new family (see photo below). Thank you to everyone at RAGOM for making this possible, and to Sandra Lynn who graciously sponsored Jack and Jersey.

I'm beyond confident that the S's were meant to be their forever home. I asked if they would adopt me, but for some reason, they didn't seem too excited. :-))) Congratulations to my foster bears. I will never forget you, and you will always have a piece of my heart.

Hey, all you Jersey fans out there! It's foster sister. You probably heard that Jack and Jersey got adopted. I just wanted to say a few things. She is one of the sweetest female Golden Retrievers I have met. She is calm, playful, sweet, and loving. She and Jack deserve their furr-ever home. I am so happy for her. She made a grrreat foster dog. It feels so empty without my Jersey bear and my Jack bear.

Well, that's all for now. Congratulations, Jersey!! Good luck to both of you!!

Foster sister,
Taylor

Happy new year!

Jersey girl had a fabulous Christmas and New Year! She received a new pink "baby" (Jack tore the head off of her old one) and a bone. We took her and Jack to have their nails done and Jersey did well, but DOES NOT like the Dremel. She is my sweet angel who loves to follow me, sleep with me, and clean me. Jersey really likes to play. I am seeing this more and more. She is awesome at retrieving and loves to chase a ball. Jacksy, of course, tries to get to the ball first, but she tells him how it is.

Jersey really likes the snow, but not the cold. She is such a sweet girl. Sometimes I'm not aware she is even in the house. She has gotten very attached to Buddy, her beau and playmate (shhhh, Jack still doesn't know). She and Buddy play well together and often cuddle on my bed.

Jersey hopes that 2014 will bring her and Jack a forever family. A family that will love her, speak softy to her, rub her belly, take walks with her, and maybe even let her sleep on the bed with them! Jersey had a spa day and is even prettier than before. She liked her bath and loves being brushed. Jersey is NOT food motivated, but rather love orientated.

Jack told Jersey about their new sponsor. Jersey smiled and was very excited! She wanted me to thank Sandra Lynn for caring for her and Jack enough to be their sponsor. She also would like to thank Team Hudson and Santa for the mittens.

Love,

Jersey!!

Hello,

Jersey had an amazing Thanksgiving and even met a new beau. (Photo below, shhhhhh.) I don't think that Jack (13-292) was too happy, but the turkey seemed to distract him. Jersey continues to be the sweet Golden girl she has been. She is such a laid-back girl. She did have to groom Jack for the big dinner, though. Apparently his hair was not Thanksgiving dinner appropriate. (Photo below)

Jersey was also at the Petco event and I learned something new.....She was VERY interested in the birds and guinea pigs. She and Jack had a couple that asked to walk them around the store, and when Jersey reached the bird/guinea pig section, the ears went up and she pointed. It was so beautiful. No barking, just curiosity. She was a perfect girl (as usual) and had a lot of fun meeting new dogs and people. She even got to meet a man named SANTA. She was a little hesitant and made Jack go first. Once she saw the this Santa person was OK, and had treats, well, she sat right down on his lap and told him how good she has been (and how naughty Jack is).

Jersey loves her walks, but her paws can't handle this cold. We tried some new UGGS, but she said the color made her feet look big. ;-) Jersey is looking forward to Christmas. She stares at her stocking and dreams of diamonds, pearls, and treats. She would also like to remind everyone to stay warm, and to make sure your four legged friends do not get left outside too long. "Baby, it's cold outside."

Love,

Jersey girl

Our sweet, loving soul is one of the best Goldens I have ever known. She loves to go for walks, be with her humans, play fetch with her baby, and snuggle up with us. She is calm, quiet, and sensitive.

Jersey was very excited that she and her buddy Jack had an interested family. Unfortunately, it did not work out, but..... they are hopeful that their forever family will find them soon!

Jersey is looking VERY forward to Thanksgiving and something called turkey. Jersey's forever home does not need a fence, but she would need boundary training if not attended, and/or be on a leash. Jersey loves children, but because her buddy Jack is a big love bear, kids should be 10 and over. Jersey is very well trained and listens extremely well. She is an inside dog and loves to be snuggled and part of the family. Jersey will also need regular exercise and a high-quality diet.

They say it is easier to have two dogs instead of one....I have four, so of course I agree. :-) Jersey and Jack are the perfect Goldens and are very bonded. They take care of each other and keep each other company. If you have room in your heart for two beautiful, well-behaved, loyal Goldens, then this is your pair.
