Juliet 12-170

Juliet and her buddy Romeo 12-169 were picked up as strays in rural South Dakota. She was in pretty rough shape and RAGOM placed her in a foster home to get her healthy again. She came in with a cough and runny nose.

The foster family tried everything to get her to eat but nothing tasted good to Miss Juliet. She did enjoy her walks and was a loving girl--sweet as pie! She visited the vet and was put on antibiotics and received all of her vaccinations.

After 5 days of not eating and being unable to get her medications in, Juliet visited the vet again. She had a severe pneumonia and was sent to the Emergency vet for oxygen support and IV antibiotics. With only about 50% of normal lung capacity due to the pneumonia, Juliet was struggling to breathe. Despite two days of intensive care Juliet was not able to rest comfortably and the vet recommended that her suffering end. Sweet Juliet went to the Rainbow Bridge this morning.

Thank you so much to her RAGOM rescuers in South Dakota, the RAGOM transport volunteers who got her to MN and her wonderful fosters who loved her in her final days. Juliet is welcomed at the Bridge by many loved RAGOM dogs!
