Welcome to RAGOM, little pup. Liam is one of six puppies born June 7 to RAGOM dog Maggie 15-119. Maggie is a mini Labradoodle. Father is unknown, but may well be another Labradoodle. The pups look like little lambs with wooly coats and cute little ears.

Liam is one of the whiter puppies in the litter and biggest. He is still very young and his eyes haven’t opened yet. Liam is a darling puppy. His name is the Irish version of Will.

Liam has a beautiful white coat which is likely to be non-shedding and a brown nose. Labradoodles were originally bred to be service dogs for people with allergies. Breeding Poodles with Labs provides a different coat, but still a very intelligent dog who wants to please. These puppies are multi-generation crosses.

Keep checking back as Liam grows each week. He won’t be available for adoption until he is at least 8 weeks old and able to leave his littermates. He will also need to be neutered. If a puppy is what you are looking for, check with your placement advisor. If Liam is anything like momma, Maggie 15-119, he will be a wonderful dog.

Updates

Liam is nine weeks old tomorrow. He had a busy week playing and then having surgery to neuter him. He weighs ten pounds and six ounces and is the largest of Maggie’s puppies. The vet believes he will be 50-60 pounds when he’s full-grown. He has beautiful eyes and a luscious white coat. He is very playful and, like all the pups, very loving.

Yesterday, Liam met his new mom, Susan. We’ve been emailing a lot about him, but it was love at first sight. And she loves his name and will be keeping it. Liam will fill a big hole in her life since she is missing her Golden who recently died. Fortunately, Liam is perfectly suited to fill a big hole in anyone’s life and quickly make them whole. He is one big, loving puppy. Liam will be welcomed into a group of supporters and have two large Poodles to play with at her friend’s house and a place to always go to. Susan has had two other RAGOM Golden Retrievers in the past, but was convinced by friends to go with someone a bit smaller than her previous dogs who were around 100 pounds. Liam, while big, is small in comparison with her previous dogs. Welcome home, Liam! You are going to be a very spoiled puppy and very much loved.

Liam is six weeks old. He has a person interested in adopting him and looks forward to meeting her. Liam continues to grow and is cuter and cuter as he changes from a roly-poly pup to a pup who can walk and eat without falling asleep in the bowl. He plays with his siblings and is eager to explore the backyard and follow the big dogs. However, he’s cutest when asleep. Inresistable!

Liam is now four weeks old. Liam and his siblings traveled to Wisconsin to a lake cottage just as their eyes were opening and they started to be more mobile. They were all great travelers. He is eating ground-up puppy food soaked in milk now along with her mother’s milk. The pups are changing a great deal now. They are more vocal, playful with toys and each other. They wrestle, chew on each other, and explore. Their walk is a bit unsteady at times, but they are gaining more control over their movements and use their little tails as a rudder. The tails are just the cutest! While they nurse, they wag them. When they’re happy, they wag them, and then they can also chew on each other’s tails as they play.

Liam looks like a little polar bear. He is very white with a black nose and pads. He likes to sleep on his back. He is a very sweet little pup who gives puppy kisses and snuggles.

It will be some weeks before Liam can be adopted and leave his mom and littermates, but contact your placement advisor if you are interested in meeting Liam.
