Hi, everyone!

My name is Luna and I just joined the RAGOM family on Friday, October 10th! My sister, Terra 14-316, and I came from a breeder. We are black Standard Goldendoodles, meaning we will be of the taller variety.

I want to say a big thank-you to Kelly B for babysitting us the first few hours and giving us a nice lavender bath and letting us play with Wiggle-butt Jorja and the crew! We have loved every dog we have met so far and were very well socialized with dogs and people early on in life.

First thing on our agenda on Saturday morning was a quick trip to the vet to get the once-over. We were already up-to-date on all of our vaccinations and stuff. Dr. Jim gave us a perfect score and said we were BEAUTIFUL and very healthy. Yeah, we know we are pretty because everyone we have met so far falls in love with our gorgeous looks and the sweetest of personalities! We sure get picked up and hugged a lot -- not that I am complaining, mind you. I am 16 pounds and Terra is 13. You'd think that gives me an advantage when wrestling, but somehow, it doesn't seem to work that way!

The weekend was beautiful weather, so we spent a lot of time outside running and playing. Of course, being puppies, we have to explore everything. I thought it would be fun to play-fight with the hose from the booster bath.

We even played in the tub, but it was too cold for turning the water on.

I did slow down and watch everything going on a few times.

In my foster home, we have two big Goldendoodle foster sisters that we already look up to. At first, they did a little growling at us to tell us it was their house, but now they let us sleep next to them on the couch and walk under them. FM knows they like it with puppies in the house because that means more kibble and treats for them from cleaning up after puppies!

That's me on the right mugging for the camera.

FM is trying to teach us to go down a long flight of stairs, but we have not mastered that yet -- well, just the last 2 steps. I kinda lay on the step and don't look at FM. But I watched Terra go down and eventually follow with a lot of encouragement, so I am sure I will get the hang of it this week.

Well, that's the 411 on me so far in my first 3 days in RAGOM-Land. I'll keep you updated on my progress later this week.

Love to my new fans,

Luna

A note from Foster Mom -- Luna is a very sweet puppy with a wonderful disposition. Puppies require CONTSTANT attention and a LOT of time and energy especially the couple of years to make sure they grow into great family members. She will be a tall and big girl and may knock over small children easily. Obedience training will be very important for her development. Other physical and mental stimulating activities like walks, agility (for fun or competition - after 18 months of age), nose work, tracking are all great ways to spend time with her and keep her stimulated and happy. She will be a wonderful addition to any family that is willing to put in the time and energy needed.

Whoo Hoo! I have some great news! I was adopted by my forever family, so now I have my very own last name! I now have a four legged-brother and sister, a cat, three two-legged sisters, and a mom and dad. FM is sure that I will keep them all very busy with my budding energy!

While I was waiting for them to arrive, I had a little Halloween spirit and put on a pumpkin bib. I think it looks quite good against my black fur!

I will miss my foster family, but hopefully will get to see them from time to time as I grow up. I bet they will be surprised to see how big I get!

Thank you, RAGOM, for taking me and my sister in and finding us forever families!

Love,

Luna

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update on little ol' me. I am having a blast in my foster home these past two weeks. Last week, Terra and I got to hang out with our buddy Baylee at daycare while FM was at work. At night, we go home to goof off with our foster sisters.

And guess what? We learned how to go down a big flight of stairs! FM was so proud of us. We were pretty happy too. We even hosted a playdate one night and a bunch of new friends came over to play. That was a lot of fun! After that, we crashed.

Then on Friday, we went to have a little operation. The first night was not so much fun, but we were feeling much better Saturday morning. Later that day, we dropped off Terra at her new foster home. I was sad to leave her, but I know she will have a good life and I will find my forever home soon too.

This week, I went back to daycare to hang out with Baylee. The weather was so nice, we got to hang outside a lot. I have to take it easy for the first 10 days or so until my tummy heals, but I do try to do some running around when FM is not looking. But then she stops my fun, so I have to be content with hanging out on my bed or the couch, playing with toys, trying to get my foster sisters to play. I ended up with a little urinary tract infection after the spay, so I am on some meds for the next couple of weeks to clear that up. FM says ithe UTI doesn't help with the potty training!

Well, I hope you all are enjoying your week of beautiful weather! It's getting close to bedtime for me!
