Hello!
I wanted to update everyone that I have had my sutures from my surgeries removed and I am ready for adoption now. The vet said I was such a good dog to just lay on the table while she snipped the sutures. I got two treats from her for behaving so well. I sure enjoy my visits with the vet.
I heard plenty of pops, cracks and noises last night in my neighborhood, but I didn't get bothered by all the racket. I had more fun paying attention to where my ball landed after being tossed by my FM, returning it to her and then dropping it in her lap so she would throw it again. I have her trained really well to keep throwing the ball for me to fetch.
I have been playing with my neighbors, a yorkie, a boston terrier and a daschund, lately. FM says that I have really improved in how I act around small dogs since when I first arrived in her home.
FM says I am getting better with all the basic commands (sit, come and down), but I still am a work in progress to jump up into a vehicle. I love to go for rides once I am in the vehicle though. I stick my head out the window and try to catch all the wonderful scents drifting by.
I get to go visit my groomer again soon. While I am really cute already, FM says I will look adorable after I get my fur trimmed.
FM bought me some pupcorn at the Farmer's Market from a place called Woofables and boy is it delicious! When I "sit pretty" for her, she gives me some as a treat.
If you are interested in having me in your home, please contact your placement advisor.
