Malina (Bella 13-156)

Profile

Please welcome Bella into the RAGOM world. Bella is one of the puppies from Mary Sue 13-118 born on May 19, 2013. She, along with her 8 brothers and sisters, was born in Kentucky before her mama could be brought to Minnesota. Bella has some Golden Retriever in her since Mary Sue is a golden mix, we just are not sure how much as her father is unknown.

Bella is mostly black with some dark brown on her face and chest, including two little eyebrows, and some light brown fur on the very tips of her feet. She weighed 3.56 lbs at her 4 week check. Bity Bella seems like she is a tiny little girl, but she is sturdy. Bella is turning out to be a bit of a snuggle bug.

We will keep you updated as this little girl’s personality comes out and she begins to explore the world.

This is Malina’s former foster mom.  It is her 2nd  birthday on May 19 and we wanted to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

What a cutie this little girl is!!  We have gotten to see her at Goldzilla for the past few years and she is so outgoing and happy!  The first few pictures were sent to me after she was adopted and then the last one is from the 2014 Goldzilla.  Malina (she will always be Bella Malina to us) is such a sweetheart.  She greets everyone she meets, 2 or 4 legged, with great enthusiasm.  I hope we get to see her again!

Miss Bella will be renamed Malina (pronounced Ma-Lean-a), which means raspberry in polish.  A pretty name for a pretty girl.  She is still such a little sweetie.  She has claimed the title of alpha of the puppies.  It was between her and Gia, but I think Malina has won.  But she is still a champion snuggler and tries to climb into my arms when she is sleepy and I am sitting with the puppies.  When they all start to fall asleep after we have been playing outside we will bring them inside to their pen, and when you pick up Malina she will stretch out her head so it is resting on your shoulder.  I think she would be very content to stay there and sleep away.  There is nothing like a sleepy puppy in your arms.

We weighed the puppies on Sunday the 14th when they turned 8 weeks old and Malina came in at 8.6lbs.  That makes her the 3rd smallest puppy (littlest – 7.4lbs, biggest – 10.6lbs).  She doesn’t think she is tiny and is very playful.  Malina leads the charge in tug-a-war and is always up for a good game of chase and tag.  She is one of the best at keep-a-way.  The puppies are all starting to find their voices and she is no exception.

Malina was spayed on the 17th and picked up by her new family on the 19th where she will continue her recovery.  She is in a for a life time of love, fun, training and agility! We wish this special little girl all the best in the world as she has won our hearts completely!

Hey guys – it’s me, Bella.  Even though I found my forever home ( yay!!) I thought I would still give you an update since it will be a couple of weeks until I can go home with them.  I have been having so much fun with my brothers and sisters!  There has been a lot of activity around with lots of people coming over to see all of us little guys.  It has really worn me out.  I have started trying to get up in foster mom’s (FM) arms when I am ready to sleep.  I know I will be safe from attacks up there.  I don’t think she minds too much.  As she always says who doesn’t love a sleepy puppy?

I have lots of new things that I am going to have to explore, but knowing that I will have a place to call home shortly makes it all so exciting.  I am going on an adventure this Wednesday.  FM says it will be fun, but I don’t know who she thinks she is kidding – I know we are going to the vet.  I am going to get my six week checkup and booster shot.  I will keep you updated with the rest of our adventures.
