Paz is having a great time here with his brother! It's nice they have each other to play with as my residents don't think they are quite as fun as I do! Paz is the braver of the two and was not a bit frightened by the vacuum cleaner. The hammer made him run but he came right back to explore it. Whatever is in his DNA, it must include some hunting lines. He stalks Taz! He stands still, crouched with his little paw raised, takes a slinky step forward, and raises the other paw. Taz's response is to play bow and jump at him. It is so funny - I have to get a picture. He is also a fierce wrestler!
Paz is suffering a bit from mange--very itchy! I feel so bad for him but the vet says the treatment should clear up his symptoms within a week or so. It doesn't slow him down! He loves to be outside and sit in an old planter full of dirt. He chews on anything he can find, of course. Paz keeps his kennel clean at night and when I am away for a few hours during the day. He actually looked like he was going to do his business in the house tonight and then went running for the backdoor. I let him out and he took care of it! Good boy! But I am not fooling myself and know he is weeks away from being house trained.
Paz is also a snuggler. He knows he has to sit before getting picked up so it is rare for him to jump. When he is being cradled, he just snuggles right in and you can hold him in any position--no squirming.
If you can handle the training and attention a puppy needs and also have the snuggly love he deserves, let your Placement Coordinator know and we can meet up!
