Happy Spring!  Happy Spring! From Julie, Bruce and Harrison

Millie   16 - 078 is an 11 month old female Golden Doodle.  Millie will be 1 on May 19th , she's UTD on shots and preventatives, micro-chipped, weighs 46 pounds/expected to be 50 pounds as an adult, spayed, no health issues, great with children of all ages, as well as cats and plays well with other dogs.

Millie has had free roam in our home (when we are home)  and has behaved as a good house guest should. There has been zero inappropriate chewing or counter surfing. She hasn't once tried to get on any furniture or beds even though she sees my other two having that privilege.  She sleeps either on her dog bed or bare floor.  When away we put her in her crate. She does get excited upon our return - so some nervous piddle has to be cleaned out of crate but it's getting better since we moved the crate nearer the door.

She enjoys tennis balls, nylabones, rawhide chews and cloth tuff toys without squeekers. The one I had with a squeeker did not last long.  Her favorite indoor activity is to take a tennis ball and bounce it away and chase after it.

Millie was reluctant to get into the car going in for her wellness check - but jumped right in after leaving the vet's office.  She did great on the car ride with no sickness.

Millie is a very sweet and gentle dog with her humans. She is a bit submissive or just likes tummy rubs.  She loves a little rough housing with my resident Golden, enjoying chasing and being chased or just wrestling.  She is much more confident with dogs, it seems.

Millie does have a stubborn streak on coming when called. But on leash she is almost perfect in not pulling or refusing to follow. Just needs more work on heeling on the side.  She performs sit and stay pretty well for an 11 month old.  Downs she needs work yet.

Millie does enjoy the outdoors and running in the yard - she may well do better with a fenced in yard than being tethered.

Merry Christmas to all from Millie!

Millie the Goldendoodle ended her summer with a bang.  Camping, hammocking, and a little lake action. We love this girl.

We wanted to let you know how much we adore Miss Millie. She is a lovable goofball who has become a huge personality in our family. We call her Velcro dog as she follows me everywhere, always wanting to be part of the action.  She even joins in on family hugs.

Thank you to the family who decided to give her a new opportunity. We are grateful for your kindness.

Warmly,
Julie, Bruce and Harrison
