Molly 14-002

Profile

In addition to LOVE this dog has the following requirements:
Entered Foster Care Fence Kid Friendly Another Dog Cat Friendly
1/3/2014 Not required Yes Optional Yes
This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

Molly is one of three puppies that came to RAGOM from North Dakota right around New Year’s Eve, and will be 9 weeks old today (1/1 3/2014). Her Mom is a small purebred Golden Retriever and her Dad is a German Shorthair Pointer. She looks to have some Lab in her too; regardless, she is a super cute and fluffy mixed puppy! Also, she is a tiny peanut! At the vet last week, she weighed in at only 8 ½ lbs, and she has pretty small paws, so we assume she will be about 40-50 lbs full-grown. She is not spayed, but will be in the next week or so.

Molly is doing great so far with her potty training and has been sleeping through the night with no accidents in her crate. She loves to play, especially with our two resident dogs, but she also enjoys just chilling by our feet or in our lap watching the day go by. Molly is very in tune with what is going on around her; you can tell she is a smart girl. Overall, she is a pretty calm puppy and I know she will grow up to be a great dog. Little Molly has had a busy week, as you can see from her picture. She found her forever family and got spayed. Surgery went well, and she is getting back to her normal self. She is being adopted by a very nice young couple who will spoil her and give her lots and lots of love. Congratulations, Molly!!

Molly continues to be a little angel. She almost has potty training down, and her crate training is improving. We try to not leave her for more than 3 hours, and she sleeps in bed with us with no problems. I know her forever family will be so lucky to have her!

P.S. Molly recently realized she LOVES to play outside in the fresh snow with the big dog.

Molly was tested with cats today, and she passed with flying colors! Molly and my relative's cat (Dobby) sniffed each other and had a good introduction, but Dobby did bat at her (did not use claws) and it seemed to have startled her and she ran away. After that, she kept her distance, sat down, and respectfully watched him. Molly did not chase or seem overly interested. I think she could easily coexist with cats in her forever home. She continues to be a very calm puppy, and potty training is going great. The only thing is she still does not like being crated. More updates to come for little Molly!
