Hello! My name is Olaf and I am an adorable 10 month old Golden Doodle! My FM calls me a big goof and says I never stop smiling! I was the only dog in my previous home but I LOVE to play with the resident Golden here. I can be overbearing in my play style and I am wishing for a VERY playful dog in my new home. I am a big solid boy at 75 pounds and need a dog who could handle me without getting hurt. I am still learning how to play appropriately and will get in a dog's face, bite at their ears, and occasionally hump the resident Golden here. I was neutered in December so I am sure with time and correction I will learn not to do that. I am also a puppy in a big dog's body so I will need a dog in my home that doesn't react to my playfulness in an aggressive way. I am looking to have a big fenced-in yard to run and play. FM says I have a ton of energy, I am awake from the minute she lets me out of the kennel in the morning until she puts me back in my kennel for the night. Naps aren't for me and I am constantly moving. I will rest on the floor for short periods and chew on a bone or play with a toy, but don't sleep. I am still learning to share my toys and have guarded them at times, especially from the little dogs here. FM feeds me in my kennel because I think every bowl of food is mine and I require a special food.

In my previous home I did have some health issues and I currently take prednisone every other day. I have allergies and IBS (inflammatory bowel syndrome). This is why I need the special food and I will need to continue to be on that food in my new home. I should not be allowed table scraps.

I am housebroken and have not had an accident here. I do need to be let outside more frequently because the prednisone causes me to be thirsty, which in turn makes me have to urinate more. I also pant frequently due to the prednisone. FM took me to the vet and he would like her to wean me off the prednisone in a couple weeks and see how I do. She says she will start doing that soon.

Well, that's all the time I have for now, I must get busy and go play, play, play! I will keep you all updated on how the weaning of the prednisone goes!
