Granger is a wonderfully sweet 3 year old 63 pound former breeder dog. He has the most gorgeous curls on his head and tail. and those beautiful eyes. He really is as sweet as he is cute.

 

Granger has adapted quickly to living the good life in our home. It has been really fun watching Granger come out of his shell the last couple of weeks. He was very skiddish for the first couple of days after he arrived. He has truly won our hearts with his curious nature and he responds quickly to correction. He did not respond to his name at all when he first arrived. His name recognition is much improved and only wants to please his people - which makes him very trainable. He is completely housetrained and rarely spends any time in the kennel.

 

He has been a joy to have around. He does follow us everywhere, but he does wait nicely on the floor outside the bathroom door. He sleeps on the floor near the bed. He does really like to eat, which is probably good since he was slightly underweight when he came in. He takes treats very gently too. Granger has done very well with our resident dogs - a golden-doodle and an eskipoo as well as a visiting friends' yorkie. We have not had him around cats, but he doesn't display any prey drive with the small dogs or the many squirrels we have in the yard. One of his favorite spots is to nap on the couch with the other dogs.

 

He really is as sweet as he looks and he will surely win you over as soon as you look at those eyes. Foster mom is really going to miss him, but is sure that he will do really well in just about any home.

Granger has found his fur-ever home.  Granger really enjoyed meeting his new Golden sister (another RAGOM dog).  It was great fun to watch them race around and play.  It was a perfect match from their first meeting.  They will be enjoying lots of play time in their large fenced in yard and at the local dog park/river soon.  Foster mom is going to miss him terribly, but knows he will be very happy in his new home.
