Hi everyone - Ryker here. No I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. My mom has been really busy since my last update (January?! Really, Mom???!!!). I am now 8-1/2 months old and I currently weigh 70 pounds!! I am doing really well with my family and I am having tons of fun and my mom and dad LOVE to spoil me!!!! Am I enjoying it? ABSOLUTELY!!! Mom and Dad have a trailer in northern Minnesota that we go to on the weekends and I really really like it up there. I can be outside all day and I meet lots of interesting people and other dogs. I have found my big boy voice and I let people know when they are getting way to close to my home; either up north or in Richfield. Oh yeah, my mom submitted my DNA (whatever that is) to Wisdom Panel and we found out that I am a Golden Retriever-German Wirehaired Pointer mix, among many other breeds. But those are my two main breed markers. That explains my unique coloring, my long, fluffy tail and the shape of my ears. Whatever I am, my mom and dad love me and I am having the time of my life at my Forever Home. I will make sure mom keeps you updated.

Hi RAGOM Friends! Happy New Year. My Forever Dad and Mom thought it would be fun to post pictures of me after having me at my Forever Home in just under four weeks. I have grown a lot since I came to my Forever Home. My personality is coming out every day and I still have some learning to do about jumping on people and using my razor sharp puppy teeth on things and people, but I am learning. As soon as Mom says “no bite” I stop right way. I am doing really really good about letting Mom and Dad know when I have to go outside. I love to play with my toys and during meal times while Dad and Mom are eating I go lay down and play with my toys until they call me after they are done eating.
Dad and Mom are talking about taking a short trip to Nebraska to meet my other fur-cousins, one of whom is a Great Pyrenees (what ever that is). I hope we go.

Hello RAGOM friends: Ryker here. My forever Mom thought it would be a good idea if I did the update. I am now 11 weeks old today!! Happy birthday to me!! As you can see from the most recent picture I am prone to nap attacks and it is no wonder. My forever Dad and Mom play with me whenever I want them to play and we have lots of fun. I have so many toys to play with too. They are training me to do my business outside and I am doing a really good job of letting them know when I have to go outside.
My forever Dad took me to the vet this past Monday for my puppy wellness check. I am happy to say I have only gained a half a pound but I am getting taller. Everyone at the vet’s office wanted to take me home but my forever Dad said that was not going to happen and it’s a good thing too. I love my forever home!! I get lots of hugs, kisses and snuggle time. My forever Mom loves to snuggle with me!!
I hope you all have a great holidays. More updates to follow.

Riccar (now known as Ryker) has been with us for two weeks and already we can tell he has grown bigger. He has settled in quite nicely and is bringing us much joy and laughter. He is learning that bed time is spent in our bedroom and his kennel is for only when we are gone during the day. He is always happy to see us when we come home from work. Getting this little guy from RAGOM what the best thing we ever did.

Hey RAGOM peeps! I'm hanging out here in Iowa with my brother Dyson 14-321. My RAGOM name is Riccar, but my foster family calls me Trio cause I have three white splotches on my back. Foster Dad says I look like a skunk, and suggested Pepe Le Pew, but I vetoed that one. Other than not liking skunk references, I'm a pretty easy going kid! I like to hang out with the big dogs and my two-leggers, and I'm a good snuggler.
I've learned lots of stuff here... I know my FM likes it when I put my poop outside. I learned to carry sticks and leaves around in the woods. I know that I fit between the couch and the end table and my foster brothers don't, so it's a good place for sneak attacks! Me and Dyson also learned that our foster brother, Clyde, doesn't like to share his food-type-stuff with puppies. He told us loud and clear that we needed to stay back and I cried, and howled and raised a ruckus. FM thought maybe I had lost a leg or something, but it was way worse than that... I got my feelings hurt!!!!
Anyway, life is pretty good here, but I'm hoping to move on to my forever home sometime in the next week or two. I'm tired of sharing all the attention with Dyson and my foster fur brothers, and ready for a family of my own!
