Hi Guys – this is Romeo. We all get to write our own updates today – I think foster mom (FM) is ready for a nap, so she is passing it off to us. We have been really busy and I am not sure where to start.
There were bunches of people that came over to see and play with us this weekend. I really liked the kids that came to play with us – even the loud ones. I wasn’t nervous at first like my brothers and sisters – I just wanted someone new to play with and chew on. Everybody said I was super cute and fluffy, but nobody wanted to take me home with them. I want to find a family of my own really soon! FM says I am a super happy boy and I agree. I love to give kisses and wag my tail all the time. I also love to play with my brothers and sisters. Sometimes they pick on me; FM says I bring it on myself by pouncing on them first. But I have a trick – I have learned that between FM’s feet is a safe place to run to if someone is coming after me. So now I can pounce and run to FM’s feet – it is so much fun. My sister Gia is faster than me, and can always catch me before I can get away. FM says this is okay, as I need to learn some manners.
Aunt Sammy is apparently helping me with my manners too. She is the resident dog. My brother Ace said that means that she gets to live here all the time. Aunt Sammy has a great big furry tail for chewing on. She doesn’t always seem to like me chewing on it, but when I come over, she moves it around really fast and I cannot help but chase it. I have a good picture of Aunt Sammy and me – I am the white and brown puppy next to her. I wonder if I will get to be as big as she is.

FM says that nobody knows what I will grow up to be, but she thinks that I will always be a sweetie. And my foster grandpa keeps saying that I am a little heartbreaker. I think that means he thinks I am cute.
I did get scared a bunch this weekend – lots of new firsts. There is a loud dog next door and his bark is super scary. Every time he barked, I ran to be with my brothers and sisters. Aunt Sammy has a big bark too, but she isn’t scary. There was also a lawn mower, and every time it got near the fence, it was really loud. I was nervous the first couple of times that it got near the fence, but then it was okay when we figured out that it wasn’t coming to get us. The next day, another neighbor was mowing and I didn’t notice it at all.
FM says we have a big adventure this Wednesday, and I was super excited until Ace told me what was really going on. We are going to the vet for our six-week checkups, and that means we have to have a shot. That doesn’t sound like a very fun adventure to me. But Ace said that means we are getting bigger and that we can go to our forever homes soon. I am really looking forward to that!!
I sure do have a lot more to explore in this world and it would be nice if I had a family of my own to help me explore it. FM doesn’t know how anyone can resist me as I am a cute, happy, sweet, loveable puppy!
