Meet lovely little Miss Sandy!!  She is a gorgeous, petite golden (58#) who arrived in Cedar Rapids, IA today.  She is very friendly and getting along very well with resident golden Maren and shih tzu Yosi and the 4 Ragdoll cats.  Loves kids and adults and wants to be wherever you are!!

Sandy does have some problems with allergies so we will be finding out more about that this week.  Sandy is spayed and is between 18-20 months old.  She is one fabulous dog.....She has spent the past 10 months with a loving family in northern Iowa who cared for her after being left in the country and helped her to be the beautiful dog she is today.  She did well with a bath today and is doing well learning to walk on a gentle leader and on a tether.  She appears to be a pretty smart gal and is learning various commands quickly.  Watch for more news in the days to come!

Sandy has been adopted!!!  She will be living with a loving family in MN and met them today!!!  It was a match made in heaven!!!  Congrats to little Miss Sandy and the J family!!

What better time of the year could you think of taking a drive to look at the wonderful fall foliage?? It's only 4 1/2 hours down to Cedar Rapids to meet the dog of your dreams!!! That's what we did one year ago to adopt our golden Maren and she is the greatest golden ever!!!  Well worth the drive!!!!

Sandy is such a sweet dog.  If you are looking for a more petite young female (will be two in November) who is calm, completely housebroken and has free rein of the house with no problems, loves kids, adults and other pets, Sandy could be the perfect dog for you!!

She is a lovely golden color and has fabulous feathering on her rear legs.  She does great on her daily walks and loves to play with our two dogs.  Please call to meet her!!!

Hi everyone...

It's me Sandy.... foster mom says I am the GReatest foster ever.... she cant think of any negative behaviors to write about... I don't countersurf, jump on furniture, chew on the wrong things.... etc etc etc.

I do bark when people walk by and I am on the deck or when the doorbell rings... but hey, I am guarding the house like a good Golden does.

I am petite and now spayed... I do have allergies but have been able to do pills instead of shots.. but every golden who has ever lived here has had some kind of allergies.. I love kids and ignore cats....

I am totally housebroken and am the sweetest golden you could imagine. Please call or email for more info....

Hi - It's me Sandy here in Iowa.... I am doing pretty well and am enjoying the other pets here at my foster home as well as the people.  We are all still trying to figure out a  way to get to the big picnic this weekend... maybe I will see some of you???
