Sunny (Bradley 08-147)

Profile

Bradley is the latest addition to our golden clan. He came into RAGOM as a stray from South Dakota, but it is apparent that he was once someone's pet. He is approximately 2 years old & only his parents know if he's pure breed or not... he certainly looks all golden except his face is a little narrower than most & my guess is that he's part fox because I have never seen such a beautiful, & FULL tail on a dog EVER!! He is just a love.

Bradley is not a name that I would have picked for him & even though he's only had it for a short while, he has learned it well. He gets along well with my 3 goldens, 2 females & 1 male but it is unknown how he would do with cats. Bradley loves to play with my kids, ages 14, 11 & 5. He plays very well with my youngest & they are like 2 peas in a pod together. Bradley is dog that would actually do well in a family with little kids...he is so gentle & calm, & yet so playful, & most importantly he does not jump!!! He is however a bit of a thief...he loves to pick up anything laying around & move it into another room...he is especially good at moving area rugs!! He doesn't chew them up or destroy them in any way, but he does like to rearrange them.

Bradley is now up to date on all his vaccinations & was neutered before leaving the shelter...he has no health issues that we know of. He weighs in at 64 lbs which is a good weight for him. Other important stuff....he doesn't counter surf, but if food is sitting or reachable at his height he considers it his. He has stayed out of the garbage & only chewed on one inappropriate thing (a basket) while he's been here.

It's been over a week since he's had an accident so it's probably to safe to say he's housebroken. He pulls on the leash & does much better with a Gentle Leader...he would make a great running partner. No separation anxiety, resource guarding or other big fears. He LOVES to have something in his mouth, & pulls his toys out of the doggy toy box & doesn't put them back!

If you are an approved family please let your placement advisor know of your interest in this great young man. Bradley will be at the PetCo meet & greet this weekend from noon til 2...so come on out & say hi!!
