Tasha 09-473

Profile

Tasha is a real beauty.  Her paperwork indicates that she came from AKC registered purebred parents.  She spent a few days in foster care in Iowa and arrived today to spend some time with us.
So far it is evident that Tasha has a wonderful personality.  She also excels in the following areas:

  • Tasha met the resident dogs with no problem. She runs and plays with our 1 year old dog, and respects the signs of our 8 year old dog.
  • Tasha came with great toys and shares them with no problem. She also has no problem sharing her food dishes and waiting her turn for treats.
  • Tasha enjoys walks and leashes up easily. She walks past neighborhood dogs with no problem. Tasha does pull on her leash. However, this should easily improve with a gentle leader or some practice.
  • Tasha’s SO reported that she is great with kids of all ages.
  • It is reported that Tasha does not like cats. We don’t have cats, so I don’t hold that against her. I was impressed when a squirrel ran past us on our walk, and she did not give chase.
  • We gave Tasha a bath, and she absolutely loved it.
  • Tasha enjoys attention, but if we are busy she occupies herself or just chills out.
  • Tasha is housetrained.
  • Tasha does not counter surf.
  • Tasha rides well in a vehicle.

We will be learning more about sweet Tasha and what she would like in her adoptive home. Please check back regularly for updates.
