Meet Miss Tess! She was born June 19, 2014, and was the only girl in her litter. Tess had her routine checkup at the vet, was microchipped, and is being treated for an ear infection. As a precautionary, she is also being treated for coccidia. Tess is just a petite little girl, weighing 7.1 pounds. She will be spayed on August 28.

Tess loves to snuggle and she is such a good puppy. We are working very hard with her on her potty training, but she does have accidents if she is not taken out frequently. Tess does have good recall when you call her name or clap your hands. She has an absolute ball chasing around her big dog foster sisters and loves chasing the cats.

Our family absolutely loves Tess; she is a doll!! But she is a puppy and needs supervision and training.

What a week it has been. Tess had her spay surgery and she is doing great. Her ear infection is cleared up and she weighs almost 9 pounds....she is still a little peanut. Tess loves playing with my resident dogs and cats...she has no fear.

Tess is still a work in progress with potty training. We are working really hard with her, but she still has little accidents. I do let her out every hour and every time after she eats or drinks. Tess is a very quiet girl; she does not bark much, only when playing with her herd.

If you are interested in Tess, please keep in mind, puppies are very cute, but also a lot of work.

  • Dogs are a 10- to 15-year commitment.
  • Do you have enough time to care for and spend with the dog?
  • Puppies chew, so have lots of safe chew toys.
  • Be aware of the costs to owning a dog.
  • They need to be let out every couple of hours.
