Virgyl is a 4-year-old purebred Golden Retriever, lovingly surrendered to RAGOM because of changes in family circumstances. His sweet disposition and confident manner tell us how much he was loved. Virgyl is neutered, housebroken, up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, and knows basic commands. Although he has lived as an only dog, he enjoys rambunctious play with his year-and-a-half old foster brother.

Virgyl weighs 66 pounds, has gorgeous white teeth and a soft, red coat. He visited the groomers for a nail trim and gave her his full cooperation. Virgyl loves attention and is persistent in seeking it, sometimes pawing or mouthing gently. He loves playing fetch and chewing on Chuck-It balls.

Virgyl has occasional seizures which are controlled with phenobarbital. His surrendering owner said the seizures happen every three to five weeks. In all other ways he is a healthy, active dog. Virgyl needs a family committed giving him his medication and supporting him when he needs it.

Virgyl fit effortlessly into his foster home. He will make a wonderful companion for some lucky adopter.
