Welcome to RAGOM's new little girl Remi. She is 5 1/2 years old, and just a little peanut. She is a golden mix, with a beautiful golden, short hair coat. She weighs 59 pounds, and is not very tall. She has been updated on all her shots, and no surprises in her fecal check, and is heartworm negative, which we are always grateful to hear.

Remi has been with us for a week, and I have to say, she is such an easy foster. She is very content to just lay in her favorite chair, and have someone to snuggle with.

Remi was introduced into our home, and to our dogs without any concerns at all. She is very respectful of their food, and has no resource guarding with anything. She is happy just to hang out with all of us, but also does fine when we leave her home alone.

What I do know about Remi is:

  • She loves people of all ages, and will get as close to you as she can if you sit with her
  • She does not need a fence, but will need someone to show her boundaries
  • She is fine with children
  • Gets along with cats
  • Likes other dogs, both male and female

Remi is one sweet girl. and will be at the Petco event in Rochester on Saturday, so please come and see us.

On March 9, 2017, my sweet Willow was helped over the rainbow bridge. She was only with me for over 4 years, but I know those years were the best she could possibly have. Willow had a bit of a stubborn streak but she liked every dog she met and certainly all the humans. When I started fostering for RAGOM, I never had to worry about Willow not accepting the foster dog into her home. She was a great mentor to them in her confident ways. I'll miss her so much and wish we could have had more time together.
