Callie (Clara 16-157)

Profile

Please welcome 5-month-old Clara to the RAGOM life. Clara is one of the puppies that was saved from the Missouri mill auction. She weighs in at 41.4 lbs, and her vet thinks she may be a larger Golden girl when she is finished growing. She is a beautiful cream color, almost white.

Clara has experienced many new things in the last couple of weeks - grass, stairs, food bowl, dog beds, collar, leash, car rides, dog toys, and even swimming. Even though her beginning was less than favorable, she is a very normal puppy!

Clara did have a slight ear infection which has been treated. Other than that small issue, her health is A+. Her spay surgery went well, and she is on the mend.

Clara has kept her crate clean during the day when kenneled for short amounts of time. She keeps the crate clean all night. She had two #2 accidents the second and third days she arrived. In total, she has had four #1 accidents. Pretty impressive for a puppy who has never been indoors. We have even let her sleep on the dog bed in the bedroom a few times, and she sleeps all night with no accidents.

This little gal is a very good puppy, very calm, likes to entertain herself, and gets along well with our younger male resident dog.

Stay tuned for updates.
