Jack (Isaac 04-380)

Profile

Well, Eric picked Isaac up. He sat in the front sit of the Camry the whole way. If Eric would have let him, he would have sat on his lap the whole way! He is a beautiful boy who is around 2 years of age. He is not food or toy aggressive. Isaac gets along great with our 10 year old half Golden and half Lab. We are teaching him to play with a tennis ball. He is catching on to the play thing! He was a stray so there is no history on him. Isaac is a smart boy though, so he will catch on quickly1

He was recently neutered and he is up to date on his shots. His distemper booster is due next week. After having the 77 pound Perrin, Isaac feels light at about 55 pounds. He is a little on the skinny side but with regular feedings and exercise to increase muscle mass, he will be filled out in no time! He truly is a very handsome boy with a beautiful coat! Isaac gets a little embarrassed when I speak so highly of him!

Back in 2004, we adopted Isaac, whom we renamed Jack. He was picked up running dangerously close to the interstate with no collar or tags and turned over to RAGOM. My husband and I had just been married and sought an active dog to enhance our active lifestyle. This past week we put Jack to rest after almost 12 years of adventures he shared with us. He enjoyed running with our horses, almost daily walks around scenic Decorah, kayaking the Upper IA river, and lovingly accepting our 4 grandchildren as they came along. In his brief moment of fame, he was featured on the cover of the 2009 RAGOM calendar. Thank you to all the volunteers of RAGOM who helped bring this special dog into our lives. He will be greatly missed.

In 2004, so eager for what life has in store.
