Welcome to RAGOM little pup. Eamon is one of six puppies born June 7 to RAGOM dog Maggie 15-119.  Maggie is a mini Labradoodle. Father is unknown but may well be another Labradoodle. The pups look like little lambs with wooly coats and cute little ears.

Eamon is one of the whiter puppies in the litter. He is still very young and his eyes haven’t opened yet. Eamon likes to lay on his back with his feet in the air. He is a darling puppy. His name means protector, defender or guardian. He doesn’t look like that yet but will grow up to be a good companion.

Eamon has a beautiful white wavy coat which is likely to be non-shedding. Labradoodles were originally bred to be service dogs for people with allergies. Breeding Poodles with Labs provided a different coat but still a very intelligent dog who wants to please.

Keep checking back as Eamon grows each week. He won’t be available for adoption until he is at least 8 weeks old and able to leave his littermates. He will also need to be neutered. If a puppy is what you are looking for, check with your placement advisor. If Eamon is anything like momma, Maggie 15-119, he will be a wonderful dog.

Eamon had his neuter surgery this week and was adopted today. He will live in Fargo with another dog and cats. His new owner has been waiting about a year for a puppy and was shocked to find him in Sioux Falls SD. His new name will be Harry after Harry Potter.Eamon has gained some weight and now weighs eight pounds six ounces. He still likes to sleep near the food sometimes.

It will be sad to split up the puppies from each other and their mother, Maggie. Eamon and Fiona have always been good buddies.  Harry can make new friends with Seneca and play with the kitties. Safe travels Eamon and have a great life Harry.

Eamon has met his new owner and will be going home to Fargo this weekend. He will be joined there by an older yellow lab, Seneca and a few kitties. That will be exciting for him and provide some playmates.  Eamon enjoys playing outside in the yard chasing with the other pups and exploring. He’s also part of the landscape crew thinning out my lilies.

Eamon is still getting his baby teeth so he kind of gums you instead of chewing with sharp puppy teeth. He’s playful and cute as a button.

Eamon is now four weeks old. Eamon has a family interested in him and hopes to meet them soon.

Eamon and his siblings traveled to Wisconsin to a lake cottage just as their eyes were opening and they started to be more mobile. They were all great travelers. He is eating ground up puppy food soaked in milk now along with her mother’s milk. The pups are changing a great deal now. They are more vocal, playful with toys and each other. They wrestle, chew on each other and explore. Their walk is a bit unsteady at times but they are gaining more control over their movements and use their little tails as a rudder. The tails are just the cutest! While they nurse, they wag them. When they’re happy, they wag them and then they can also chew on each other’s tails as they play.

It will be some weeks before Eamon can be adopted and leave his mom and littermates.
