Hi, everyone!

My name is Rex and I am new to the RAGOM Family as of February 22, 2015! Whoo Hoo!

I have been in foster care for a week now and am having a blast! I have 2 Goldendoodle foster sisters that I get along with really well and I am a big goofball and love to play and get attention from my foster mom. FM says I have the Golden nudge times 1000 because I am constantly nosing her hands to get her to pet me. FM is working on getting me to settle down in that area, but understands that I have a lot of adjusting to do in my new surroundings. I got a really nice bath and haircut my first night here too.

I am enjoying having free roam of the house when FM is home and love to explore everything in my new environment. I do great with my foster sisters and I prefer to hang out with my foster sisters and FM wherever she is.

Friday night, I got to play with Buddy 15-056, another Doodle like me, and his foster sister, Sadie. We hit it off right away and did lots of running around.

Then on Saturday, I made a bunch of new friends when a big group of RAGOM friends and family came over for a playdate! 10 dogs and everyone got along great. That was a blast! I liked everyone I met and wrestled, played tug-of-war, and showered all of the people with love and attention!

Here I am wrestling with new friend Dylan.

And here I am playing tug-of-war with Carrie 15-047.

I had such a wonderful day that I actually took a long snooze on Saturday night! FM was pretty happy with that! You see, I am a super high-energy guy and need some vigorous exercise to wear me out.

FM took me to the vet on Tuesday for my wellness visit. I needed a few vaccinations, so now I am all up-to-date. I weighed in at 66 pounds -- a lean and perfect weight for me. I am heartworm negative and got a clean bill of health.

FM says the perfect family for me will have a commitment to working with me on obedience training and some manners. I do pull on a leash. FM has been impressed that I have not counter-surfed here, though I do put my nose up at counter level to sniff around.

I have not been in the car very much this week, but will get to go visiting places in the next few days. I was very good on my ride to the vet, though. I haven't chewed anything inappropriate, but I do like to tear pieces off of some hard rubber dog toys. We don't have any soft toys here on account of my foster sister, but have plenty of bones, balls, and rope toys to play with. FM smiles at me when I play ball by myself by dropping the ball on the floor and picking it back up over and over.

I am crate trained and do just fine during the day when FM is at work. My new friend, Am,y comes over with Mohave for a lunchtime play break with me and my foster sisters. We get some good time running around outside even though it has been pretty cold outside. At night, I sleep in a crate in the bedroom with everyone and settle in just fine and sleep all night. Rumor has it that I will soon get to try sleeping outside of the crate.

When I have to go outside, I tell my FM by pacing by the door and whining a bit. FM says those are good signals.

Hi, everyone.

Can you believe the wonderful weather! 70 degrees on March 15th! Unreal! FM is REALLY happy that the yard dried up. Last week, we had former foster Doodle, Charleston 15-017, come back for babysitting as his family was going on vacation. He and I are like two peas in a pod. All we do is wrestle, wrestle, wrestle and run, run, run! We are exhausting poor FM with our nonstop energy. But at least we are giving our foster sisters a break from our youthfulness! FM says we are like "new math" in that 1+1 = 3 cuz we are like supervising 3 dogs.

Here we are ripping up the yard, running and jumping as Doodles do!

I got to go to one Meet and Greet a week ago to see what that was like. I totally soaked up tons of attention from lots of people. It was a lot of fun and I wish I could go to more as a foster looking for a home, but alas, that won't be needed as I found my forever family! They drove a long way to meet me and it was love at first sight! I now have a mom, a dad, a 2-legged brother, and a 2-legged sister to keep me busy busy busy and a new last name of my very own. I am now a member of the E family!

Here is a picture of me and my siblings before heading out for our trip home.

I will miss my foster home and all of the excitement of doggy playdates and outings, but I am ready to start my new life and see all that the world has to offer! Thank you RAGOM for giving me the opportunity to join the RAGOM family, rest my head, make lots of new friends, and wait for the right family to call my very own.

Love to my fans!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Rex here reporting in to say I LOVE the new fresh coating of snow that fell today! It sure makes the yard look much better all white and pretty!

Here I am just chillin' on the new snow.

FM found out the past few days that I LOVE to play fetch and am a pretty darn good fetcher if I say so myself. I bring the ball right back to FM for another toss.

On Sunday night, we went to a friend's house to get me "cat-tested." I met Thor who kinda runs the house. I was very excited to try and meet him, but he did not share my opinion. I did respect his corrections for the most part. See this video. A little later, Thor decided to make a run for it (his mom said he likes to be chased), so I bounded excitedly right after him to the downstairs where he jumped a baby gate to his safe spot. I was still excited and wanted to get close to him, but did not attempt to go over the baby gate.

There was another cat there, Allie, that just hung out on top of a crate and watched me. I gave her some sniffs, but since she was not interacting with me, I didn't pay as much attention to her. She did jump down and go behind the couch, so I tried to squeeze this big body back there, but got myself a little stuck. FM thinks that I would be ok with dog-savvy cats once the initial excitement was gone.

After cat testing, we stopped to meet my foster sisters' cousins, a Golden Lab and two Mini Goldendoodles. I met everyone just fine, as I would expect! Those Mini Doodle girls are so cute and wanted to play with me. FM says they get a little giddy when around big boy Doodles. I am pretty good riding in the car, though I did do some whining. But after a while, I settled in as I saw there was no need for concern as my foster sisters were calm and relaxed. Apparently, they are very experienced riders!

I have been getting a bunch of exercise every day and that is really helping me to burn off excess energy, so I am doing better settling down in the house and getting into a routine. I enjoy hanging out on a dog bed in the office, chewing on a bone or ball while FM is working on the computer. FM says I do not have any resource guarding issues as she can take any toy away from me without issue. She gives it right back, so I guess that is how the game is played! I also eat in the kitchen with my foster sisters and do just fine. I am a bit of a slow eater and walk away from my bowl. However, I am learning that is not a good thing to do because my foster sisters patiently wait to finish off what I leave. FM calls one of them the Circling Shark. So now, I am doing better at finishing my meals. Though I totally love TREATS!

Well, that's all I have for an update for now. Here are a few more pictures of me in the beautiful snow today. Enjoy!

I got the ball! Come and get it!

I love running and fetching!
