Miele has been doing fantastically since she arrived here with her siblings, Oreck and Regina. They all sleep together in a crate overnight and usually the crate is dry in the morning. I have never had to get up with them and I don't hear them making any noise at night. We all wake up about 6 am and then they are ready to go potty! Miele will have some accidents when she is playing, but that is very typical for a puppy her age as she is just learning about going outside. Sometimes she will bark at me and I bring her out right away. Miele will almost always then do her business outside. The three of them are absolutely hilarious and each have a personality of their own. Miele is the spunkier one of the bunch and is very outgoing. She is the first one to check out something new and loves to play outside in the snow. Miele weighs almost 9 pounds right now and is growing fast. Baths are not her favorite things, but since we always have to be fresh and clean, she tolerates them. We love snuggling with her and her lavender fresh smell!
Miele went to the vet last week and did great there. She received her first puppy vaccinations and was microchipped. She did have roundworms, but was treated for that and they are already gone. Miele will go back on December 8th to be spayed and then will receive one more puppy vaccination. She will be ready in just a couple of weeks to go to her forever home.
If you are looking at Miele and thinking she looks really cute, remember that she needs a lot of consistency and training to help her grow into a well-mannered dog. She will need potty and obedience training to help her on her way. Puppies grow into adult dogs and this is a very crucial time for them.
