Sweet Remi has found her forever home with a wonderful family in Iowa. Remi has a mom and dad and adult human sister who has three dogs for Remi to play with. They followed Remi's page from when she first came into our care and knew she was the one for them. Remi is very lucky as her mom does not work outside the home and she loves to take walks and is very active, just what a young puppy needs!! All reports are great with Remi sleeping like a pro, growing like a weed, loving her fenced in yard and going for lots of walks. Her health is perfect, giardia is cleared up and she has recovered from her spay surgery without any issues. Ah, my house is way too quiet without the sweet puppy and I know my resident dogs, especially Willow 12-112, miss their play buddy. Poor Willow now has to play with her brothers Rocco and Raven 11-173!!!
I'd like to send a special thank you to Remi's first owner who made the heart wrenching decision to surrender her to RAGOM so she would have the best possible chance at beating parvo. I know this had to be a very tough decision and one that shows how much you cared for her and wanted what was best for her. Remi and I would also like to thank Patty L for being her 2nd foster mom and helping her so much!! And a huge thank you to Remi's sponsors, Maria and Herb H as well as the fantastic supporters who purchased paws to decorate her page and those who donated to RAGOM in her honor. We could not continue to rescue, re-home and repeat if we did not have your support. Thank you all for helping Remi and for your continued help and support of all of our RAGOM dogs.

Hi everyone it's me Remi stopping by to send a quick note to the wonderful folks who thought of me at Goldzilla and purchased a paw to help with some of my expenses. Thank you Ruth H for helping me so I can have a Golden life like your pup Corkey!! To Pam P and Janet E and Jessie, thank you for your help. Foster mom and the foster siblings told me that Jessie lived with foster mom before you adopted her. I hope I find a wonderful home like Jessie!!! Thank you to Kathy and Hailie W for the donation in honor of Oscar, Chester and Bernie. Sounds like a nice pack of pups!!! Time to go play.........Foster mom here. Remi was spayed on Friday and has recovered well. She was groggy and not herself for 12 hours and then at 2 am she woke up and decided it was time to party!!! So much for sleep. Remi seems to think she is totally recovered from her surgery, but I am doing my best to keep her somewhat quiet. She is a very sweet girl, who is so smart and just an absolute joy to have around. We will all miss her when she goes to her forever home. Remi is meeting a family this weekend, paws crossed it is a match for all..
I'd like to send a special thank you from Remi and me to Patty L, Remi's 2nd foster mom who has been caring for Remi while I am at work. Remi has learned so much at Patty's house with her resident dogs and foster Robbie 14-248. I know she will miss you all when she goes to her forever home.

Remi is doing great. She visited the vet this week and is now up to date on vaccines and weighed in at 13.4 pounds. A nice normal weight for her age and size. She has recovered very well from parvo. Remi is one of the very lucky ones and is happily making up for lost time. She is very spunky and smart. Housebreaking is going well, but as with any 10-week-old puppy, there are tons of trips outside and a few accidents if one is not quick enough to read her signals.
Remi has had an active social life as of late. She was on TV promoting our big fundraiser, Goldzilla. (You can help by making a donation here.) Here is a photo of Remi chewing on the news anchor's sleeve. Remi was certainly popular and I think there were a number of people who wanted to take her home from the TV studio.
Remi has also been visiting with Tundra. Here is a photo of her taking a walk with him. They are both two very special dogs and, to me, what rescue is all about.

Remi would like to send a huge thank-you to Maria & Herb H for sponsoring her in memory of their beautiful Golden girl, Chelsea 02-208. Chelsea was a very special girl and Remi is extremely honored with this sponsorship. It is because of wonderful people like Maria & Herb that RAGOM is able to continue help dogs like Remi.
Remi continues her recovery and is making up for lost time when she wasn't feeling well. This little one has a ton of spunk and energy. Her nickname is the energizer bunny as she goes and goes and goes. Sleeping at night is a challenge as she seems to be somewhat nocturnal. Remi is very smart. She figured out various ways to get up onto the bed, including using her foster sister's tail as a rope, using her foster brother as a step stool, and using the blanket to pull herself up. Remi likes to try and walk my resident dog, Willow 12-112 and Willow is very tolerant of the puppy. She is 100% puppy!!! More updates after her next vet visit.
