My name is Sora and, as you can see, I am a B-E-U-tiful cream colored Golden Retriever.  I just turned five and my foster mom says I’m just about the nicest girl around.  I was surrendered to RAGOM because I have allergy and thyroid issues that my family was no longer able to work through.  They loved me a lot and I know they miss me.  We’ve put together a plan to address my issues while I’m in RAGOM’s care so I’m hopeful I’ll be good as new in no time at all.  I’m now limited to food and treats with a single protein type to see if that helps my skin and I’m due for a thyroid recheck in a week to see if the latest dose is doing the trick.  Hopefully my skin and coat will improve with those changes.  In the meantime I’m having a blast hanging out in my foster home.

I know all kinds of commands and I have better recall than anybody else who lives in this house!  I sound almost perfect, don’t I?  I know!  In the interest of full disclosure,  I should a tell you that, if you let me, I’ll eat my own poop because…well, I love poop.  You should view this as motivation to keep the yard clean and eliminate that mess you have every spring.  You’re welcome.

I should also say that I lived with kids in my former home but my foster mom says I can be a little mouthy when I play so prospective adopters would need to be aware of that.

Interested?  Well, who wouldn’t be?  I will consider all serious applicants so let your placement advisor know if you’d like to be considered.

It's me, Sora, with good news!  I've officially selected my forever family and I just know I'm going to be very happy here.  My new home is close to my foster mom so visits are in our future.  Here's a picture of me in my new backyard.
